The Solitary Sea

The Solitary Sea, originally uploaded by lejson.

The Solitary Sea
Quiet, near the sea
But miles away from the crowd
Stands the solitary figure
Whose gaze pierces the depth
The dark sea and the dark night
Appears mysterious and too frightening
But she stands unbaffled and remote

The dark sea echoes within her
Remote and alluring…
Both are calm
But with a tumult inside
She is now closer to the sea
Herself the solitary figure
To be one with the sea
To share the isolation
And the alluring mystery

Long December

Ice Summer, Alaska, Prince William Sound , originally uploaded by moonjazz . Swallowed by darkness and frozen in gloom, we plant our roots deep and wait for the bloom.

Looking up.

An email chain that hit the spot: "May today be all you need it to be. May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears... May God manifest himself today in ways you have never experienced. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered. I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, true and undying love for God."
